I was a punk rocker before enlisting. I adjusted my look to stay within regs but could still be a punk.

Had a friend in one of the Aero Msintenance Sqdns (AMS?).. who did cartooning .. we had a deuce n half with the field kitchen kit on the back and we were getting it packed to be loaded on the C-5. The artist
Drew that rig and made it lol mean with pipes with flames pouring out. and the headlights were squinty eyes.. He had made us Cooks look like Some kind of mean lookin’ anyway in later years I put the pic in a copier and put it on a iron-on transfer.. in fact I made several. ..
He had signed it but you had to loook hard because he incorporated it into the design of the rig. He was way out in Aridzona ... doing what I don’t know.. I was wearing my shirt in
Town and was walking around an art fair area.. the area was divided
Into different crafts metal crafts, paintings including transfers.. some artist seen my shirt and didn’t recognize it from any sold at the fair.. she didn’t like it because of the Military insignia on the vehicle and the stripes n nametapes on our
Jackets.. ..she seemed to know s
‘thing about trademark infringement . .. (use of the U.S. AiR FORCE on the rig and our nametapes, the star emblem on them door and the ser. no.on the rig.. our friend was careful to get permission to use that info for the pics (but not the transfer I transferred the pic to.. ). She kept looking to find the artist’s name.. finally a potential buyer asked her about her paintings and that gave me my chance to move away.. as in out of that area.. I’ve still got a good looking pic of a F-15 D fully loaded going up off the runway.. i’think that’ll stay in the frame.. I found that artist is from a town not far from where I live.. I gave a cousin one of the next to last shirts I had ... i’ll Just not wear it in the local area.. she seemed like a busy-body that liked making a hard time for people about things like
Licensing and the such..

I don't mind the music but I HATE the druggie life that my stepdaughers (who no longer live with us) that often goes with those that stay up all night and sleep all day with no aspiration to work or find a job. They listen to this and Screech metal but they don't live in the real since drugs, alcohol and pot is all they desire and they don't desire to finish school or take care of their health.

Sorry to hear about your step daughter, the boss's older nephew in almost the same shape, but they gave him a job, doing menial jobs that are fairly easy.

SGT David A. 'Cowboy' Groth - sad because we put them in Air force jr. ROTC and Catholic School but you can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink. We are protecting our 10 and 6 year old daughters from this same fate. We protect our kids.

We're making sure our grandson follows in his dads shoes, he is excelling in sports like his dad, and pulling really great grades in school. He's talking about following , by joining the military.

Rammstein is great! Also another band from Germany called Mega Hertz. While I don't consider myself to be a thrasher, punk, goth or whatever, I still like to show a bit of my flair. My eyebrow is pierced and was before I joined. Every once in a while on weekends I'll wear it but it's not in a distasteful sense. I think that it's based on maturity level. If you want to go to a mosh pit, ok but be ready to face any consequence that comes hurdling your way. If someone wants to express themselves outside of duty, off base and still has a brain, go for it. If the guy wants to wear eyeliner and goes to a party, who is going to report him if he's there to have a good time?

Those guys always creeped me out. Their gnarley teeth and their need to have a female. Eegh. I'll stick dealing with Klingons, Romulans and the Borg over Ferengi.
Yes, I'm a Trekkie......and proud of it.

PO1 (Join to see) - I like Star Trek but I don't live breathe Star Trek talk period I once had a roommate in my Fraternity in college this is back in the VHS tape days he had every single episode of the original Star Trek and it was now getting DVDs of Star Trek next Generation which was running at the time and he went to Star Trek conventions. Evelyn seen a couple episodes of Star Trek Enterprise and I've only seen some of Deep Space Nine and I've missed a lot of Next Generation. I do have like the new Star Trek remake and when I finished my major upsers servus School of command and general staff officer course one major in the class had half of us go to see the latest Star Trek Beyond in the summer of 2016. what was funny was after the movie we all went out to dinner and some of the majors in her early thirties had only seen Star Trek next Generation or Deep Space Nine or Voyager or Star Trek Enterprise but some had never seen the original Star Trek with William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy so they were totally confused period I guess you can call that a generation gap even among the majors.https://youtu.be/yaeHAI2CKfQ
