Protesters continue fight to stop Line 3 oil pipeline in Minnesota

I bet you these protesters took a car or a bus to come to this demonstration. I don't think they drove a Prius and if they did, it still uses fossil fuel for charging its battery. Maybe only those with suspended drivers licenses from a DUI conviction(s) rode a bicycle to the protest.

This anti-pipeline protest movement is getting out of control. I live in Canada and right now there is a dispute and people are having a big sore Papa because the federal government nationalized the oil pipeline that was in Jeopardy of not being built and now the federal government is promising to have it built. Yet, people are protesting and having civil disobedience. They think they can save the Earth by not having this pipeline upgraded. It makes you wonder if these environmental groups are being paid by OPEC and Russia?

I don't see them protesting oil tankers coming in from the Middle East. I suspect this is a fifth-column-like intervention by OPEC(With the help and support of Greenpeace and the Sierra club and broke indigenous tribes) to stop the United States and Canada for being self-sufficient in energy.

You have Democrats like 'innocent Maxine Waters' that are telling activist constituents to hound the Trump administration's people when they go out to eat and you have environmentalists that are getting crazy in Civil Disobedience when we are not anywhere near close to having electric cars in full inexpensive mass-production.

When we have electric cars in the future, guess what's going to happen? We're going to have pollution from lithium all over the place. We're going to have cars that will explode and short and have fires because of all the energy in those batteries. We're going to have to build more reservoirs of hydroelectric plants because they don't want to build nuclear plants. This is going to cause a mass increase in CO2 because of the decaying vegetation causing CO2 from those reservoirs.

These climate change Fanatics think they are making a difference but they are not. The oil is coming from Canada is coming from my province. It will make Canada and United States self-sufficient from OPEC oil. OPEC members include communist broke Venezuela and not so friendly countries like Saudi Arabia, Iraq and poor countries like Nigeria that don't do any CO2 capture nor do they have any environmental stewardship.

We have a socialist Governor here in Alberta who actually is pro-oil. She has put Carbon Capture and other pollution controls in effect to get social license from the deranged environmentalists but to no avail.

She is fighting the British Columbia government that is all Green party and has extreme New Democrat Party which is basically as left as Bernie Sanders. They are trying to fight the Supreme Court of Canada to not allow oil to be shipped from Alberta to British Columbia so I can be exported to India and China.

The social justice Warriors need to stop protesting and go find a job. Okay maybe some of these people are students or retirees. The oil pipelines are going to continue. This is an oil -driven economy. Helping your enemy by stopping oil pipelines is not going to change society overnight. You guys don't want nuclear energy, you don't want Natural Gas driven power plants because you suspect the CO2 is warming the Earth.

Don't you realize we are in between ice ages? Even if we stopped using all fossil fuels today, the Earth is still going to continue to keep warming up.

If You don't believe me, read articles and videos from Dr. Judith Curry. Some of you will call her a traitor because she called out bull crap on climate science graphs that are not accurate. She has been called a climate science denier or heretic. Excuse me? She was the one who came up with climate science findings in the 90s and later found out that she was mistaken. Her zealot climate change scientists don't like anybody to dispute them. Science used to allow for dissenting opinions but it is not like the Politburo of Russia and China where it has to be UNANIMOUS. They also don't always publish how they come up with their findings.

Did you know that 97% of climate scientists agree? The other 3% who don't agree are fired. She was one of the 3%. Since she had seniority or tenure, she couldn't be fired but they hated her guts for being a heretic in their eyes.

Climate science is now climate politics and the left is embracing a flawed science data that is politically driven by the Kyoto Accords and Greenpeace. Some of you may think I'm crazy. I am not but my local politicians are going to be crazy and add about $300 currently to about $2,000 to my cost of gasoline and energy in the next 5 years. This is caused by Ho-hum liberals in Canada and Democrats in California who worry about wages not going up fast enough. Look in the mirror Ho-Hum progressives!!
