What false allegations did he make? I saw the video and he was cuffed face down. If he believes he was profiled that's an opinion and not a fact, so it's a stretch to investigate him for his opinion. If he hid and ran it probably added to probable cause, and he's very lucky he didn't get shot. I've stated here that I believe if he'd been dressed more professionally he might not have been apprehended. Blue plaid shirts are often worn by the Crips gang. Running and hurdling a barrier didn't help either. Add these to him being black and it's no wonder he got detained. Not sure how it would have played out for a white man but running might have triggered a similar response no matter what race.
