Plan for National Guard security force on Capitol Hill faces political pushback

We should not be deploying military permanently in our own capital

Shouldn't we have military focused at our borders to aid with fema and uscis? Not at the Capitol.

Easy to resolve. Those Representatives or Senators that do not feel safe or comfortable serving on Capitol Hill should of course resign immediately. Attempts to turn it into "Fortress Pelosi", should be rejected. Protests, even if they turn bad are part of the job of being a representative in the legislature and as such they should not get anymore protection then the taxpayers get. Time to put the big pants on.
