Portions of the US-Mexico border wall created under the Trump administration have been compromised by migrants using $5 ladders to climb over the structure, according to a new report in Texas Monthly.
The United States Border Patrol reportedly often finds discarded ladders left alongside the wall when patrolling the area.
Ladders have become so prevalent in climbing the structure that the Border Patrol relies on the city of Hidalgo, Texas, to haul away and destroy the lumber that was used to produce them.

Once again the nation is getting more divided on the immigration issue. We have been in need of comprehensive immigration reform for many, many years but Congress will not set aside their differences to deal with it.

A1C Mike Allen - First off, we must deal with the millions that are already here. I personally know a number of folks that have been working in the shadows for decades. We should pass the Dream Act. We should find a means to let those millions come out of the shadows.
Of course, employers do not want that. They enjoy the profits of cheap labor. But for the betterment of our nation, we should take the necessary actions. That would respond to your statement that the US should know who is here.

A1C Mike Allen - Deny health care? Not very Christian is it? Allow those workers to come out of the shadows. Issue them green cards.
And, yes, penalize those employers if the hire more undocumented workers.

Mike allen, if you know so many illegals, then you are part of the problem. Turn them in to DHS. Report those who employ the "illegals". Be a patriot.

Because the people who are supposed to be monitoring it are minding the thousands of children who have come in and need supervision even if locked in cages by this administration
