I personally think they should have done this years ago. It would certainly teach them valuable life lessons that they would not otherwise learn. And maybe toughen them up a little bit!!!
I had a friend share a picture with me on facebook because it reminded them of me. It said "I am not a tomboy but I am not a girly girl either. I want to get my nails done but I want to blow shit up too!"
In my opinion we need more girls like that!!!

Selective Service registration is not tantamount to being drafted. Every male upon attaining 18 years of age has had to register with the Selective Service Administration, but no one has been drafted since 1973. It’s just a pool of names. Let it begin.

Remember the English bicycles, SP5 Mark Kuzinski? It had front and rear hand brakes, and a three speed gear shift on the right handlebar.
I was mixing it up with a biting dog that was chasing me and lost. I wrecked the bike and the left hand brake missed my left eye by 1/2 inch! I was bleeding so badly my mother couldn’t see my eye and she became hysterical! She cleaned me up, calmed down, and six stitches later, I was fine!
Bike was totaled.

LTC Stephen C. - Been there, done it and did it. I hit the front brake once while turning - that is a complete No/No. I became one with the bike and it wasn't a pretty sight!!!!

I have supported this for a long time. If they were called up, regulations could be modified as to their assignments. Just watched a new program on the assault on Hill 875 in Vietnam. Really don’t want to see women slaughtered like that, difficult enough seeing our young men in situations like that.
