Obscure a Muscle car history.
The 1965 -1967 400 big block was a short stroke engine is different than the 68-69 400. My 1967 Olds Cutlass had a Holley 600 vacuum secondary, cam, edelbrock performer, manifold and headers. I ran it with 8-1 compression. Twelve bolt posi Chevy 12 bolt rear end with
3.31 gears. I am sure that this car in the article had 3.9 gears or 4.11 gears.
The best time I got ( With a 3 speed automatic) was 14.23 at Carlsbad raceway back in 1988.

LTC Stephen Conway, I worked for a Chevy and Olds dealer in the 70"s I remember the Hurst Olds. I thought that it was one of the neatest cars ever.
