One of the saddest thing I have ever heard in this era.
"A white supervisor, at a meeting, saying, "What's the big deal about nooses? There was never a black person who was lynched that didn't deserve it." The supervisor was not disciplined, the lawsuit said."

You just can't fix stupid. It's time to start branding these people, like Hester Prynne, so they can be shunned.

I don't think branding people is appropriate, however, hanging people is not race specific. I would like to mention his comment is beyond stupid.

If you ever lived in Detroit area. Suburbs are predominantly white, City is predominantly Black. In the wealthier suburbs the loose comments you hear sometimes is like the Deep South in the Jim Crow era. It is pretty bad. Hoping that the rebuilding of Detroit from a destroyed ruin might heal some of that bitterness.
