MAJ Montgomery Granger Good article and share. John Clauser brings up an obvious, but neglected variable: cloud cover!
"And reading these reports, I was appalled at how sloppy the work was."

Good people are speaking up about what they know and notice! How could always changing cloud cover NOT be a missing piece of the neglected variables puzzle?

Maybe if a pressing issue is put into more appropriate terms . . . instead of trying to guilt trip people about causing climate change - like minimizing the variety of pollution problems people create. It would go a long go a long ways towards reducing what people do to foul the planet which impacts the quality of life for those doing the polluting and causes damage to the food chain - slowly over time - imperceptibly to those not paying attention to the problem. Because pollution is the part of the quality of life problem and puzzle that people AND industry can minimize.

He' right, isn't he about pride instead of good science<sigh>:
""My suspicion is what I am saying here will be totally ignored because people don't like being told that they've made big mistakes of this magnitude," he said."

1. He is a quantum physicist, not an environmental scientist.
2. Clauser "points out" but has not subjected his theory to peer review like regular scientists.
