Does anyone have any pictures of the statue? The article had a pic that was covered up partially. Used to live off of Ft Sill Blvd on post in the late 90's and played that course often. Was in 212th FA BDE.

LTC Jeffrey Shapiro Camp San Luis Obispo my BCT and AIT trading site used to have a ? 8 foot tall statue of a Soldier just inside the entry gate. It represented some 7800 Soldiers trained there during the Korean War. Alas, it vanished once the CAARNG became full time custodians of the small base.

I was part of 214th Fires Brigade and have wonderful Artillery battle buddies and mentors.! This is good stuff.
