As a leader, AWOL status was never an ambiguous or confusing thing to any of the command teams I was a member of.

The media has a lot more power these days than they really should and I am sure this a good part of these change. I am uncertain how hard it is to understand Absent without Leave simply means the soldier is not present and not on leave. How much more simpler can we make that?
