Certainly as always having a quick reaction force with Marines for immediate response is needed as it always has ben and continues to be. A good way to contain things before they get completely out of control with the support People, equipment and supplies that are needed to carry these operations out quickly. The knowledge the US has this capability and will use it should put out some of these fires before they even get started or perhaps even prevent them in the first place. All around it seems to be a good idea.

Or we could hire only Marines who walk on water?
