Early on in my Navy career, I was a so-called "snipe". We had pride, professionalism and a work ethic unsurpassed by any other discipline. All the blaming of the crews is a coverup of an extremely flawed weapons system.

LCDR Rabbah Rona Matlow - Unless you have been there, you wouldn't understand. The reason I left being an Engineman was the rating was blocked. Some of my best times and hardest work was while I was a snipe.

Who is responsible for the design of our new high end weapons systems?.......Find them, hang them on a hook o the wall....Sounds to me like someone was feeding the bear on these and the F-35's...I hope they are held accountable, we're not talking $150 dollars here!

You can work thru a lot of problems on a ship but a complete engineering break down is catastrophic.
