34th IN Regiment, worst change of command, ever. Inbound Regimental Commander killed while leading bazooka teams house to house in Chonan. 14 hours in command.

Got to walk the ground at TF Smith and the Battle Of Pyongtaek (1/34). The 1/34 position was horrible, even though it was on high ground. It truly reflected how blind US Forces were in 1950.

One war I admittedly have never really studied in depth. I do a lot with veteran groups and the Korean vets are stepping forward more as time goes by. The Forgotten War is something I will have to review more and get up to speed.

Marty, would advise you to read This Kind of War by TR Ferhenbach. It is very well written, researched, and reads like a story.
