Do I have to repeat myself? Liberals aren't liberal. In fact, they are opposed to liberty. They hide behind the label "liberal" to mask their true intentions. They are progressive Leftists. They will continue to succeed so long as they control the debate by controlling/perverting the definition of words.

That is why I remind people who say "the Founders were liberal" that classic liberalism and modern liberalism are actually polar opposites. Classic liberalism embraces liberty, individuality, success. Modern liberalism abhors all of these. Tell them you want to earn more money for yourself and your family, they call you greedy and selfish. Unless you work toward bettering the collective whole, you are regarded as some sort of greedy, selfish, dispassionate, evil person. If you are successful, you somehow did it on the backs of others; "you didn't build that". Wealth, same thing.
