Lawmakers push to make it easier to discipline, fire VA workers

I have been in the VA system for years and have never had a problem with doctors, nurses, and tech's.. However the patient advocates at the Omaha VA that I have dealt with are terrible. They have a high rating civil service rank and know that they can't be touched. People like that need to be canned. I told one gentleman that he would be more apt to mop floors and clean toilets because he sure as hell wasn't doing his job. I'm all for the VA being able to fire incapable people just taking up space. Its about time.
