In my view Col Joseph Lenertz this entire situation is about Control, Period... Those in power always want more power... All one has to do is look at regimes by Joseph Stalin, Lenon, Mao Zedong, Adolph Hitler, and many others... The were fundamentally dictators... who wanted all the power they could acquire over the people... They eradicated those who fought against them...
It all begins with stripping the populous of weapons...guns first. Once gone, there is no way to protect oneself against a dictatorial government. The United States has been an anomaly to the world as we are a Constitutional Republic and for some 240 years we have had a great Democratic system... However that is on the verge of collapse with the Far Radical progressive movement, which has no rhyme or reason focus on stability where the people control the government, but the other way around... We must stand tall to protect our Constitution and our way of life! Great Post, Joe!

Very impassioned comment, but historically inaccurate. Hitler relaxed gun restrictions when he came to power. He gained control through propaganda, not disarming the populace. We are not an 'anomoly', as there are many other countries with Constitutional Republic forms of government. We were just the first.

Agreed. Our Founding Fathers knew best and wrote the 2A. Too bad our ignorant left populace doesn’t understand what they are asking for. Basically throwing away their birthright and legacy at the behest of their leaders....who are about power.

It is a power issue. We will be controlling vehicles and how much and how far people can drive as soon as they figure out how to make that happen.
