1stSgt Nelson Kerr - In fact, I used to subscribe to Borowitz ... would get his satire in my email. I dropped my subscription about two years ago, well before Trump was even the Republican nominee. His satire simply ceased to be amusing ... and since he has no credentials or credibility as a political columnist, there was no reason to waste time reading his output.

CPT Jack Durish - It doesn't bother me. He's a vet like the rest of us and the fact that I disagree with him most of the time doesn't change that. If we had a drink together, I'd simply avoid discussing politics and religion with him. I've got practice doing that ... my BIL was a Democrat for a long time. Now he's sort of lost ... he's also an ardent gun collector. In fairness to 1stSgt Nelson Kerr, I don't think he holds a grudge. He's voted me up a time or so when our views happened to coincide despite the fact that he disagrees with me most of the time. I've done likewise.
