It is an honest assessment. I would love to simplify the tax code and reduce the IRS to small group of pencil pushers.

I was audited once. Got notice in Iowa and company moved me to Minnesota before the audit date. Got a new date for MN and the company moved me before the date to PA. Finally had to audit in PA. Agent said we were beginning to think you were dodging us.
Went well with only a minor problem. I had deducted my daughters uniforms. But since she was a student that was not allowed.
Yes my company had me in three states that year.

I used to keep my receipts in gunny sacks, now I attach all receipts to a master contract for that job KISS that's my policy when it comes to taxes...And a good accountant! Been with him for 20 years now.
