Are you ready when disaster strikes?
Every person I know have different opinions of what is needed. we all know the basics of water, shelter and food. What other items would you consider valuable that you have or would purchase ? Bedding, flashlights, lighters, emergency radio, bug spray, baby wipes, sanitary stuff, mirror, MREs, guns and ammo, knife, first aid kit, cooking pot, ponchos, 550 cord.

All I know is that yes, I'm prepared and at the top of my list are my guns and ammo! I carry at least one everywhere I go.

The US has a radical shift towards huge disasters. The military monitors the needs of states to include using the full spectrum of military assets and personnel for preparedness and recover. If they need aircraft carriers and helicopters, the Military HQs has the power to requisition them. FEMA will be the coordinating agency for funding. The NG and military will move the mountains. It takes a sage LTG and his staff to constitute command on the ground.
