It's interesting that the future dystopian Utopia of the movie Demolition Man has so many Parallels for today. Crime is out of control, cops are neutered and don't really have any power. The cars of the future look wimpy and uninspiring. Actor Denis Leary has a muscle car from the 1970s. He doesn't want to eat the stupid natural foods. He wants to have freedom of speech and freedom of choice and the Democrats of today consider anybody who thinks like Republicans to be a threat to society.

It's weird that this movie, which is a terrible one, would Gore the ox of the 'woke'. I do feel what this character is spot on and it's how I choose to live my life.

LTC Trent Klug it is kind of like the movie 1984, it doesn't make much sense at first but then when you see it happening around you, then you realize how bad communism and socialism is and that's what the Democrats are embracing now so that's why I say the Democratic party of today is nothing like the Democratic Party of the 1990s. I would say something like stupid leftist AOC would kick out JFK and Bill Clinton because they would be considered too moderate. They would be kicked out of Democratic Party and they would join the Republicans.

LTC (Join to see) Of course, you're right. I watched 1984 and thought it couldn't happen here. Then I realized, yes it could. Now it has. The Patriot Act, the FISA Courts, and the spying on Americans needs to stop yesterday.

So tell me, what exactly did you, LTC Eugene Chu, lose out on from the last shutdown? What government services were so vital that you were unable to make your way through life without federal assistance?

I was fine, but my Uber driver was an OIF military veteran and furloughed federal government employee.

LTC Eugene Chu I was a federal employee that went thru a couple shutdowns. I still had to work,an essential employee dontchaknow, without pay. That's what savings is for. I know, I know, democrats don't believe in saving for a rainy day so young Uber driver had to work a second job. Tough.

LTC Trent Klug - Same here Trent. Dems want you to think that doomsday is coming with a federal shutdown...Guess what good Lord willing and the creeks don't rise the sun will still rise tomorrow. They want you to think the same thing with respect to thesee officer nominations and blanket approvals. Guess what they can still approve one at a time but they want you to think that Tuberville is this great big ogre when he is standing his ground. If the shoe were on the other foot and a Dem was standing their ground and holding things up it would be rallies and cheers that he is strong on his/her convictions but because it is a Rep he is an ogre. Sad times we are living in.
