So the Republicans are really going to put into place the death panels the claimed ACA had.
Who is going to determine what illness or injury is "High Risk", Congress?
So all the people who have diabetes, have had heart attacks, strokes, traumatic brain/physical injuries, all high risk, so screw them and lets charge them 200% (guess) more.
I have paid insurance for over 30 years, but I get what they call a high risk illness/injury that I pay more than someone who just started to pay for insurance.

SFC (Verify To See) - The problem with that logic is that it is based on a lie, multiple lies in fact.

SFC Bernard Walko - When are you going to admit the GOP should've spent the last 8 years working with their counterparts at fixing issues in the law instead of hoping for it to fail? Some of these initiatives GOP have mentioned past couple of months are actual fixes to the current law.

I'm having some difficulty with any form of government mandated program being referred to as an entitlement program when Social Security Benifits are also referred to as an entitlement program. To this old Squid I know that I'm entitled to Social Security payments because I paid into this program all my adult life beginning at age 17. I actually view this as a forced investment/pension/insurance program since I paid into it all these years with a less than desirable payout; mainly because it does not compare favorably to my employee pension program for which I paid into for 30 years. So, how come any government mandated healthcare program can be called an entitlement program? Is it simply because 435 representatives vote to say you are entitled to it regardless of what you paid into this program? For decades we've had a system of health care for those who have no insurance because every hospital in the USA is required to treat an injured or sick person regardless of their ability to pay. I'm more than willing to help those who are unfortunate, but not for the free-loaders. Socialized healthcare programs are a wonderful idea if everyone contributes; only then can you call it something you are entitled too. Otherwise its a inequitable scam designed with an alterior motive. Let's address the ability for those who have paid into healthcare..say an HMO who want to move across the country and now find their healthcare is not transferable state-to-state. Or, you have paid into one healthcare program and have health condition like cancer and change jobs, or are forced to move and join another HMO...even within the same organization and find your healthcare benefits are NOT transferable. This is a real scenario that needs to be fixed. Lets make sure we don't end up with a healthcare system we are truly entitled too for a healthcare system that is bankrupt because it was designed for those who have no entitlement or skin in the game.
