Bio

Retired from oil industry as a Project Specialist/Project Engineer. These assignment required coordination of design and construction with operations, process, health and safety, and construction groups on a wide range of projects concerning security access and surveillance, CCTV, emergency egress, piping/mechanical, and civil/structural design considerations, all while staying within a budget. After leaving active duty I began working for an engineering firm as a Engineering Aid. After about nine months typing specifications my classification changed to Jr. Draftsman drawing flow sheets on linen. Within ten years I had advanced to Sr. Design Coordinator before becoming a Project Specialist, and Project Engineer. My speciality was Piping and Mechanical Design. The training I received in the Navy as an Aviation Electrician proved to be very valuable. With 45 years of experience I retire with 30 years working for an oil company. I continue us use my electrical, mechanical, and photography skills on volunteer projects, including those benefiting Veteran causes.
