Expecting politicians to do their job on a broad scale and think of America before their party was your first mistake.

You had Tom Daschle (Dr. No) and Harry Reid that had a desk full of bills not voted on by the Senate and have the gall to complain about this? As per the Plan of the Day, pure hypocrisy. Seems to me that McConnell learned well from his Democrat predecessors.

MCPO Roger Collins If I could go back and complain on a non-exist RP at that time I would. It's not hypocrisy if you've always hated it.
But that doesn't change the question - is it something you support and think is within the intent that the Founders had in operating a government?

Congress was supposed to have this budget negotiation completed by 1 OCT each year to include 2018. Continuing Resolutions equate to failing to completely fund the federal government by the start of the federal fiscal year. (1 OCT).

I think that as of the 1st of Oct the doors should be locked and no one allowed to leave until they have done their job. And all time from October 1st until it is done should be without pay.
