LTC (Join to see) Excellent Share! "Plank Owner" on a Ship is always Pretty Significant. I'm a "Plank Owner" but Not on any Ship! I'm a Plant Owner of the COMPACFLT SPINTCOM (SCIF) FICPAC Bldg Pearl Harbor HI and Navy Memorial Washington, DC.

My former battalion commander called us plank owners. Between 1 hour unit switched over from non airborne to airborne. He explained the concept you did because he was prior service navy before going army reserve. He retired as a full bird colonel. So congratulations to you being a plant owner in your particular section.
