Yep and the Seabees always enjoy celebrating with the Marines. We pretty much always had much more and colder beer, so getting an invite never was a problem. In turn the Marines are always welcome for our Seabee birthday celebrations.

Roger that on Seabees Captain. A tough and resilient unit that does the difficult immediately and the impossible eventually. Beachmasters are also a very resourceful bunch. Was at MEC-P Pohang, Korea for ops in 90 and we wanted to have a gathering after several months in-country. Chow and class six are hard to come by and entailed trips to AFB Taegu and ration cards. After our SNCO's scrounged all the ration cards they could they hooked up with CB's for extra support. We invited CO and 1stSgt up to join us and they were dumbfounded. Expecting a few cases of beer and some sandwiches they got there to find meat, buns, plenty of beer and an open bar, with the Seabees on hand to assist so I hear you on coldest and most beer. Best Wishes.
