I still don't understand why evangelicals are so concerned about what a woman does with her womb. Unless the man is the one who visited said womb to cause the impregnation, not their concern. Abortion is a religious issue, and should be kept out of government period. Unless it is a matter of life and death, it should be treated as any other elective procedure. Not an insurance issue. The cost alone coming out of pocket would be enough for it not to become a method of birth control. It is one of those don't like it, don't partake things.

Not long ago, evangelicals and Catholics hated each other. So how can vice presidential candidate Mike Pence describe himself as an ‘evangelical Catholic’? Because he’s a product of his times.

So we are being compared to animals now, we I guess the way liberals are behaving we are animals. Murder is murder, you can justify it anyway you wish. Law is supposed to protect the innocent. You cannot get anymore innocent than an unborn child. Plus I hate to say it but we treat the animals were slaughter for food more humanely than abortionist treat that unborn child. I don't need dogma, I haven't been to a church in years. I know what is right and what is wrong. Keeping telling yourself all the lies you wish.

SSG (Join to see) - It is a fetus. It is not a person. It cannot live on its own. It is not a life until it emerges from the womb viable. You are choosing to step on the rights of the living to protect something that cannot live on its own. If you are so dead set against abortion, fine, don't have one. You do not have the right to tell another person what they do with their body.

Disagree, most abortions are preformed on fetuses that have lived. There are premature births where the child lives and grows up to be a healthy baby. Plus this old wives tale that the unborn cannot feel pain is a bunch of baloney. Most doctors will tell you they can and will feel pain. You guys can justify all you want, by using the rights of others. I have the right to shoot some one but will have to pay for it under the law.

This is a discussion where the majority from both sides are all the way to the edges. To the Right / antiabortion folks, be there to help IF ASKED, help foster the kids (and parents). but remember, abortions have been happening for WAY longer than Roe V Wade, even within the church. For that note, I would prefer that a woman has access to COMPETENT medical assistance and not a coat hanger in a back alley. For the Left / PP since I had no part in creating the kid, stay out of my wallet, You cannot force a Dr to do the Abortion if it is against THEIR beliefs, and no, I do not think that PP is the organization to perform this or any other of their "supposed" medical services that have been proven beyond my satisfaction that they do not exist.

SGT Eric Knutson I agree with you on both counts. Don't put religious morality into legislation on one side. Don't ask me to pay for it on the other. A healthy dose of common sense would be good for both sides, unfortunately when it comes to this issue that is more rare than an eight legged horse.

So where is legislation making it mandatory for the"father" to pay up, stand up, and take care of them both?
Oh yeah that can't happened men say it's her fault she got pregnant not mine, see ya.
