A little over two decades ago, I was apolitical. I didn't follow any political party, but started seeing a shift towards socialism as we were advocating democracy abroad. At the time, I was a newly tasked manager of three defense contracts with the Marines on the air station at Camp Pendleton and MCAS Miramar.

One of my employees, a retired SSgt from Puerto Rico, educated me with some sound council while Clinton was expanding social experiments to the military with DADT. A second employee introduced me to the "conspiracy theory" while backing up the theories with historically written words. Although I wasn't a fan of bill, it wasn't his terms that reinforced my conservatism, but ghw bush's family legacy. Prescott Bush was a member of a plot to overthrow the US Government, known as the Business Plot. He was also working for a bank that was seized by the US Government using the Trading With the Enemies Act of 1917 for laundering money for nazi germany during WWII.

Gen. Smedley Butler's book "War is a Racket", John A. Stormer's, "None Dare Call It Treason" and G. Edward Griffin's "The Creature from Jekyll Island" made me realize that government isn't as benevolent as we had been led to believe. Along with two retired Marines and the three books mentioned above, it created a crusade against RINOs and the democrat party's "death by a thousand cuts" push towards socialism.

Obama's czar pick for Director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy, john holdren, reinforced the sleeping communist theory knowing he advocated eugenics and the abolition of private property in his book, Ecoscience. It didn't help when he appointed, Administrator of the White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs as cass sunstein who wrote "nudge" which advocated small policy changes that would nudge the US to their version of a better society. Edward Cline (Capitalism magazine, 6th October 2009;) referred to sunstein as “fascist/socialist fellow traveler in the Obama administration endorsing the gagging of anyone who criticizes (it) and its agenda…”

The list goes on and the research into many books and quotes to arrive where I am today hasn't stopped. It's a red-pill journey down a rabbit hole that started in 1995 that will never stop. I still believe in the US Constitution, but I do not have faith that our modern government officials will adhere to the laws which are meant to limit their power and hold them to egalitarian standards. They have become Orwells' pigs.
