I obv know nothing about that whole topic...that being said, while I usually tend, for that very reason, to quite shy away from that whole thing, as a rule, as I just have no personal interest in the whole thing myself, I'm afraid, I'd merely observe that there have always been those of rather reactionary viewpoint who, for whatever reason, would care to try to alter the pretty-much sacrosanct first 10 ammendments...now, to me, that's just not gonna happen, ever, if only because of the obv psychology involved, namely, if it ain't broke, don't even remotely try to even think of fixing it...I could be wrong, however, that's just the way I tend to view that one specific aspect, honest...overall, I'd say those who wrote the original 10 all pretty much got them exactly right, in the main...I mean, occasionally, there might be need for some case-law fine tuning, that's why the Supreme Court exists, certainly, or, at least, one of the principal reasons, just another thought...however, by and large, on the whole, the first 10 amendments have basically done rather considerably more good than ill, which, as well, is yet another reason to not try to alter them, at least beyond what the Supreme Court does, which also pretty much deems them essentially stare decisis, at this point, I've gathered...those are just my thoughts, at any rate...I'd merely found the title of the piece interesting, that's why it rather caught my eye in this instance...as I'd said, typically, I've rather left that whole topic alone, if only because, as I'd explained, I know essentially nothing about it, other than what little I've read occasionally, whether here, or elsewhere, as the case may be...short of a Constitutional convention, which I also rather think just ain't never gonna happen, for like reason, I honestly don't think the first 10 are ever gonna be changed, that's just my view of it all, as it were, hope that was all of at least some interest and/or relevance, possibly, to the whole thread, if nothing else, you know?
