I'm curious what The Defenders source for this story. Was it Breitbart, The Epoch Times, or the Gateway Pundit.

Unfortunately, CNN has been caught too many time openly lying, and has had to pay cash to settle. Remember Native guy “being harassed” by kids from a high school? They had to pay the kids big bucks because they lied. No big new recantation….

MCPO Hilary Kunz - Yes, i have watched it many times, to me, it is clear that the kids were being disrespectful, but it shouldn't have been such a big deal, kids will be kies.... https://www.scarymommy.com/white-boys-harass-native-americans/

I was talking about the whole thing, where the “victim” was actually the perpetrator, getting in the kids faces as a prelude PFC David Foster

MCPO Hilary Kunz - CNN paid the young man a settlement, however, they were given false information from someone they had no reason not to believe. They didn't intentionally lie, and they did apologize... at least some of the journalist.... it is different in my opinion when you think you are reporting the truth and when you intentionally lie.... but thanks for having a civil debate... I really believe this was human error, not outright lying.. https://www.thewrap.com/usa-today-cnn-reporter-kirsten-powers-apologizes-for-judgmental-and-condemning-tweets-on-covington-students/

It says USA Today, but the first line says she also works for CNN
