EXCLUSIVE: FBI Political ‘Bias Training’ Syllabus NOT for Public
Scrutiny

There was a very biased culture when it comes to the investigations of the 2016 Donald J. Trump campaign and so-called “Russian collusion”: political bias within the Federal Bureau of Investigation as well as those conducting the special counsel investigation. It was obviously very embarrassing to the FBI and the director offered the following assurances (in the aftermath of the Inspector General report) to the American people that the agency will make every attempt to conduct further business in a professional, non-biased manner… an assurance one would think never had to be made.
We’re going to make sure that every FBI employee understands the lessons of this report.
Because change starts at the top—including right here with me—we’re going to
begin by requiring all our senior executives, from around the world, to convene for
in-depth training on the lessons we should learn from today’s report. Then we’re going to train every single FBI employee—new hires and veterans alike—on what went wrong, so those mistakes will never be repeated.
We’re going to make sure we have the policies, procedures, and training needed for everyone to understand and remember what’s expected of us.
That includes: Drilling home the importance of objectivity—and of avoiding even the appearance of personal conflicts or political bias in our work.
— Christopher Wray, FBI Director, 6/14/18
We’ve heard this all before. A government agency and/or employee runs afoul of the rules and we’re all assured that agency or person receives the appropriate retraining. We decided to inquire as to what kind of in-depth training would be conducted, WHO would be composing the training syllabus and WHO would be presenting the anti-bias training to employees. We thought this a reasonable request seeing how the American people would not only be affected by those “trained” agents but taxpayers would also be paying for the physical materials and paying those who’ll be administering the “training” to FBI personnel around the world.
We sent a Freedom of Information Act request to the FBI and received the following response…."
BLUF the requested info does not meet the requirements of the FOIA.
"So, the same FBI that had agents sending highly-biased text messages
between them (that we only found out about because of an internal investigation) is now
telling us their remedies won’t be made public in the interest of “national defense or
foreign policy”?
The following is the FBI’s attached reasoning and justification."

Well, I guess the cut-and-paste negates the need to come to the website. It's sad that one additional click is too much for some people, especially when we depend on the potential for donations to help pay our bills.

The better than you attitude that I encountered from some FBI Agents when I was in Law Enforcement had me wondering back then, but I was just the low rung on the Totem Pole.
