Shown is how the number of weekly deaths in 2020 differs (as a percentage) from the average number of deaths in the same week over the previous five years (2015–2019). This metric is called the P-score.
Note that deaths in recent weeks might be undercounted due to reporting lags.

SSgt (Join to see) I reviewed it and it's rather depressing brother... After talking with severall of my doctor friends the number of COVID-19 related deaths have been overstated, when actually patients have come in for other life threatening issues, they are marked as COVID-19 deaths. I wonder why that is happening Keith. Several stated they just want to keep their jobs and theri doing what they've been told. Interesting... Thanks for sharing the graph brother, but I'm finding it hard to believe anything I read these days...

COL Mikel J. Burroughs - If you look at the graph, total deaths for the last month are BELOW the average total deaths for the same time period in the previous 5 years. That tells me that we are way beyond the hump and are at a state of almost non-existence of deaths due to Covid. And remember - total deaths last year and the preceding 4 years did not have any COVID deaths!
I agree with what you have said. I too have several doctor friends and it is very maddening what they have been told to do. It is a political play - pure and simple.
This graph is more telling than any graph put on the news. The other thing they will not report on the news are the age groups with the most deaths. Those over 70 or 75 years old! The next biggest groups are not so much age related as they are pre-existing health issue related. Obesity, Type 2 Diabetes, Heart conditions.
