MY SAY: The US military detention facility at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, is the finest such facility on earth. ICRC physicians I worked with there in 2002, told me, "No one does [detention operations] better than the US. As for you claim that the base should be relinquished to the "Cuban people," the Cuban people are oppressed by a tyrannical COMMUNIST government, not the same government to whom the US gave independence not long after winning the island at the end of the Spanish-American War. Instead of "giving it back," we should take it back and LIBERATE the Cuban people!
