Emerg House Payment for an Odox Deacon, organized by Charles Ankner

I have an Orthodox Christian Deacon, VietNam Vet, “buddy of mine” (he’s actually one of my spiritual fathers) who is having a bit of a rough patch. Many factors have come into play and over several years.

The gist, while waiting for earned benefits to come in (years of fighting with the VA), and with the COVID con, and with the Florida Dept of Unemployment not coming thru; the mortgage payment is due and he is short $1400 - since the Dept. of Unemployment stiffed him for making $60 as a Census Worker.

Now, I’m being very transparent; if I had the money on hand… I would not be making this holy plea. The need would be filled instantly. But, I don’t at present. I’m waiting on the VA as well; and times are indeed hard.

SO, “hey fella can you spare a dime”.

If you can offer a few bucks, please do. If you can loan a few bucks until “the ship comes in” we can arrange that too. It’s not a mountain for many to overcome; but, thru my father’s eyes… it’s Mt. Everest.

I especially call to fellow Orthodox Clergy. A brother Clergy is in need; help him.
