I noticed no where in the article does it say how many guns came from unlocked vehicles
As that is the issue they justafing this additional law for

Now why would you leave that number out?

Why do they make sure twice to mention the 60 guns were stolen but omit how many came from locked vehicles

And how many came from law enforcement, DA, Fire investigators, parole officers ect

If your gun is stolen from your vehicle, unless a window is broken or there is other evidence of a break-in, the Police will ASSUME that your vehicle was unlocked and fine you, and it will be up to YOU to prove that your vehicle was locked. No-win situation.
