Of course he is, a good chunk of Trump merchandise is produced in China, not Taiwan, and that's all he cares about.

Yep. like those gaudy shoes, and now the shooting t-shirt. Strange that shirt got on the market the very next day after the shooting.

Excellent diplomatic move. Damn, I didn't think he had it in him. Now, before you go ballistic, consider this: If President Trump gave Taiwan assurances that he would defend them if he's elected, China might act now before he could pose a threat to their ambitions. By suggesting a reluctance, he gives the Chinese reason to wait to see if he's elected. Now, you may argue that I've giving him too much credit. True enough. However, it's what I'd do in his position. Americans have a terrible diplomatic record and I can hope he might turn that around. Remember, he accomplished much in the diplomatic arena during his first term. The David Accords. The end of ISIS. General peace in a world in which bad actors like Putin are running rampant knowing that the U.S. has very weak leadership.

That does not wash as we have already made commitments. What that idiot does not understand is the US military will all but stand down as the advanced chips we need to keep operating will no longer be available if China takes Taiwan . I swear some of you are so dense that you cannot see the nose on your face if you are looking into the mirror. It aint weak leadership keeping China from invading now it is strong leadership which is something you will never get from Trump
