Does the United States Need a Space Force?

With whats been going on , yes .

No. They already have the Space Command. That is a waste of funds.

The function of a Space Force are needed, what I'm not sure about though there was already a Space Command within the structure of the US Air Force, did We need another added branch of service and bureaucracy to carry out the functions that were already being done by Space Command ? With this addition also both the US Air Force and the Space Command fall under the Department of the Air Force. New, different uniforms, a separate chain of command another Chief of staff. It seems more often that not the Federal Government seems to increase the Management or command structure senior positions by divisions like this and making new added agencies. Just some of My thoughts on the subject, not that the functions weren't needed but adding another branch of service ? I guess if they have an academy of their own some day they would be Space Cadets ? I don't know what others think on this subject but I'd be interested in hearing Your opinions.
