All the upheavel being blamed on "Covid" is getting old. Yesterday's local newspaper even had an article about a "shortage" of chocolate. First it was toilet paper, then lumber ... the vehicle computer chip shortage, foods, and now it's blamed for every shortage. Indeed, transportation (trucking) has been affected; but it's not really Covid that's the culprit - it's the knee-jerk reaction of the federal and state governments' response to exaggerated dangers. THAT's what has U.S. and world economies in such sire straits.
It's compounded by unprecedented programs to "boost" the economy by paying monies to people whether needed or not; paying enhanced unemployment that cause people to refuse to return to their jobs becaus they make as much, or more than by working. Virtually every retail business has signs out, desperately seeking workers, "Help Wanted," and "Now Hiring!"
All the economic "boosts," will result in ever-increasing inflation, and the dollar will lose more an more buying power. Of course Democrats in D.C. will want to increase the minimum wage, even BEYOND their $15 Dollar/hour foolishness, "... to keep up with inflaction," thereby exacerbating the problem.
All the government tampering with our economy WILL come back to bite everyone in the ass!
