Court refuses to dismiss parents' case over school's trans indoctrination

Excellent news...the court is on the correct side in this one.
"For that reason, we are pleased that the court rejected the school district’s request to throw out this case and instead recognized that the argument of our clients ‘demonstrates a potential violation of their rights as parents to direct the upbringing of their child.’

Hopefully they go on to win the actual case, as well.
I have absolutely no problem with the school honoring a child's expressed wishes to be called by a name of the opposite gender or use opposite gender (or gender neutral) pronouns... for a day.
If little Jane come up to the teacher and says "I really want to be known as John now, and would prefer to be addressed as 'he'," I would expect the teacher's answer to be something along the lines of "OK, John, that is good to know. Thank you." I would ALSO expect that teacher to IMMEDIATELY reach out to parents either via e-mail (with principal CCed) or phone call (with a follow up with principal immediately after hanging up) to discuss this development.
And I don't really care whether little Jane is 7 or 17. It is still up to the parents.

Schools must be gender neutral; parents should be required to decide how their kids are treated in school; as a boy or girl.
