Cop caught pepper spraying bikers taken off the street, faces investigation

SSG Warren Swan this is assault. If I went out on the side of the road and hosed down a group of bikers with pepper spray, I would (provided it didn't start a brawl) be arrested and charged with assault. This officer should not be behind a desk, he should be in an 8x8 cell.

SSG Warren Swan Holy crap! To Protect and Serve, not To Blind and Swerve! As many bikers he pepper sprayed is as many counts of felonious assault with intent to cause great bodily harm or death should be charged. What next, laying down suppressive fire? As if cops already did not have enough PR problems...

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that counts as assault on the part of the officer, if not assault with a deadly weapon based on the circumstances. Desk duty my 4th point. He should be sitting in a cell awaiting arraignment like anyone else. He even filmed himself doing it, on two different cameras.
