“She’s an important political figure in her own right and has a bigger and more relevant audience than most mainstream journalists and broadcasters,” Penny CS Andrews, a doctoral researcher in information, media, and communication at the University of Sheffield, told Business Insider.

I am a little left of center in my politics; however, with quotes like these, I get perturbed. She is an insolent child and she is "an important political figure in her own right"? As a long time educator, I am losing faith. A doctoral researcher is telling me that a 15 year old girl with a "bigger and more relevant audience" is more relevant than educated adults? As if any audience of a 15 year old snotty teenager is more relevant than any educated voter. Give me a break.

From that snippet what's wrong with what the researcher said? She has a larger audience than most mainstream journalists and broadcasters, she has inside information on her mother who has been a huge political figure in this administration which in a way makes her daughter a political figure in a way.

I don't think she's snotty - it sounds like she lives in a toxic, abusive home honestly. Yes emotional and mental abuse is abuse and far worse than physical abuse. I think CPS needs to come in and remove her from that home honestly. All she's doing is exposing her mother's lies and toxicity.

Hopefully I never become such a toxic POS that my daughter feels the need to blast me over social media. If I had this back in the day, I would have definitely blasted my emotionally and mentally abusive mom. And she's not any kind of famous figure.

SFC Kelly Fuerhoff - The problem is that a fifteen year old does not have a fully developed prefrontal cortex. Why are we adults taking political advice from a child whose brain is not fully developed in regards to complex decision making?

Almost all teenagers rebel against their parents. That's a given. I remember George Harrison said he became a musician to rebel against his parents' culture. Harrison then added that his son, when rebelling against him, decided he wanted to go to military school.
