I was curious about the reference to Helena until I realized that the remains of CSA Mg Gen Patrick Ronayne Cleburne is buried in the Leonidas Polk plantation near Columbia, Tennessee named Helena, the body lay in state at St. John’s Church. He seems to have been a gallant man and a leader who was admired by his soldiers. Like other valiant men he fell victim to the whims of a rash superior in his case it was John Bell Hood at the battle of Franklin, Tennessee.

LTC Stephen C. - thanks for confirming that Patrick Cleburne's remains were moved to Helena in 1870.

SGT John " Mac " McConnell and LTC Stephen F., I live in Franklin, TN, and have toured the sites associated with the Battle of Franklin many times, most notably Carter House and Carnton Plantation (which includes McGavock Confederate Cemetery, the largest privately owned military cemetery in the United States).
Although I've been to Columbia, TN many times and visited the home of former U.S. President James K. Polk (pictured), I've never ventured to Ashland (unincorporated nearby community about 40 miles south of me), to visit St. John's Episcopal Church.
