Have we accepted the creation of artificial islands and the take over of others by China a done deal? This response ignores the question. How would an incoming administration respond to this Chinese "Manifest Destiny"?

Looking simply at persona, one would be nonreactive, the other would be over reactive.

The answer is based on our "incredibly qualified" candidates (kidding of course), assuming the over reactive is elected he would be presented with options by our military leadership, he would have to act based on those.
The other option troubles me, if the nonreactive was elected then the military might be forced to act to insure survival.
This is indeed a paradox.
