When Sherry and I got married she had a cat, I had a dog. We switched blankets so they got used to each other’s smell. They got along well but stole each other’s water dishes, sleeping spots etc. it was fun to watch. They both passed away leaving a hole in our hearts.

Lol, we had 3 dogs and each had their own bed. Once in a while we would rearrange them then make a fuss.. The dogs would go running for their beds and hop back and forth till they had found their own bed, it was so cute. We made sure to let them know they weren't in trouble after but it was pretty funny to watch.

It is funny. We have two cats and she has her choice...he is not allowed in her space but she occasionally takes his to make sure he knows who is in charge.

My second wife used to sleep on our Great Dane's bed. A Russian Blue I had used to share a bed with a Dalmation-Lab mx.
