When these reports are continuously ignored it can only mean there is another agenda getting priority.

Thank you my friend MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D. for posting the perspective from WND contributing author Art Moore
No surprise that POTUS Joe Biden (1) ignores the impact of defund the police and (2) that he made the duplicitous statement that there is an 'epidemic of gun violence'.
He is a demagogue attempting to stand on a wobbly create [we have all seen him trip, slip and fall :-) ]

GOP Senator rebukes "defund the police" movement during gun control hearing
At a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on gun control, Sen. Chuck Grassley slammed the "defund the police" movement.

Pasted from the article
"As he made the case Thursday for his executive actions on gun control, President Biden emphasized the daily toll of gun violence without acknowledging that the spike in violent crime in major cities has coincided with his party's push to defund police.
"The idea that we have so many people dying every single day from gun violence in America is a blemish on our character as nation," the president said.
Examples of potential correlation between defunding police efforts and spikes in murders.
1. "the death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, in 2014. As police backed off from discretionary enforcement, an additional 2,000 blacks lost their lives in 2015-16 compared to the previous period.
2. 'In Portland, Oregon – where city commissioners voted last June to cut nearly $16 million from the police budget – murders spiked 1,600% in the first two months of 2021 compared to the same time period last year.'
a. "Portland City Council responded to the further rise in gun violence with a $6 million plan. But the Portland Police Bureau won't get any of that money, Instead, $4 million will go to community outreach groups that already receive city funding, and $1.4 million will go to the city's Park Ranger Program.
The funds will be used to hire 24 unarmed rangers who will carry only pepper spray and a radio, and are not trained to intervene in conflict. They will have to call the police like anyone else if they encounter trouble they can't handle."

Joe Biden is 'going further than people expected' with his stance on gun control
President Joe Biden is expected to sign several executive actions around gun regulation after a slew of mass shootings with the White House confirming the president will address the issue tomorrow.
US Studies Non-resident Fellow James Brown says there is no shortage of crime to “spur congressional action” but said President Biden was “going a little bit further than some expected”.
“He said in his recent remarks that he wants to try and not just introduce further and widespread background checks on who can get access to guns in the US but he wants to go after assault weapons and high capacity magazines,” he told Sky News.
Mr Brown said previous Democratic presidents have struggled with gun reform and the last time America had significant reform was in 1968 after the deaths of President John F Kennedy, Robert Kennedy, and Dr Martin Luther King, Jr.
“It took that sort of level of national crisis and five or so years to get that piece of gun reform legislation through so it is such a complicated debate and there are so many passionate views and there is so much money on the table when it comes to opposing or supporting gun reform.”
