It is interesting that the V-247 Vigilant would be able to cruise at 250 knots which would allow it to serve as an armed Osprey escort SP5 Mark Kuzinski.
Being able to be launched from a vessel does seem to be a distinct advantage since that means it could be launched from anywhere the US Navy has access to.
The fact that the Vigilant is comparable in size to the USAF medium-altitude drone MQ-9 Reaper.[weight about 29,000 pounds with a 37-foot fuselage and a 65-foot wingspan].
I hope it has masking capability to reduce its signature.

So we spend stupid crazy amounts of money on stuff like this, yet we can't get VA benefits, have crappy gear, cutting our retirement and benefits for the soldiers and no monies in the units for uniforms! WOW!
