Is there something in the water that shouldn't be there? Over the last year and into this year, there has been a LOT of military individuals both officer and NCO involved in crimes against children. Is it that there always has been, but technology has made it easier for them to be caught and broadcasted to the masses, or could it be a pure lack of any values by them allowing them to do these crimes?

My suspicion is that this has always been the case. It's just that now, with the advent of the interwebs and the de-stigmatization of reporting such things, it's coming to light more frequently. Over time, one can hope that that impetus will change things.
