I think I had seen something about this before, but I think we need to cull some of the unnecessary awards and simply the uniform. There is no need that we all need to look like Eisenhower or MacArthur. I am not immune myself. As it stands on my own uniform (as I count it) I have three unnecessary ribbons and a badge. Army Service is redundant because I wear the uniform. NCO Professional Development is redundant because I wear the rank. GWOT Service is redundant because I have the National Defense Service. My regimental crest is redundant because we have branch lapel pins.
