Army Expanding Pre-Boot Camp Course for Overweight and Low-Scoring Applicants
MY SAY: Is this a failure of our education system? Recruits out of high school are unprepared for military service. Why? Lack of basic skills and physical fitness. Too much emphasis on college prep and not enough on LIFE skills and wellness. Not every kid wants to go or is well suited for college at 18 years old. What they need are job skills, problem solving, some hands on experience and physical fitness. Our public schools are not fulfilling their primary purpose.

Beware! In my day the Military put through a program instituted by a certain politician/ Think tank Wunder Kid Robert McNamara ,called “McNamara’s 100,000 “derisively called “McNamara’s morons” used to fill the ranks depleted by losses in the combat arms,from personal experiences these men should have never been allowed to be used in this situation, Welcome Home Brothers.
