Arizona suspends former prosecutor’s license for falsely charging protesters

The former Maricopa County Attorney’s Office prosecutor who worked with Phoenix police to falsely charge protesters as gang members will lose her law license for at least two years. The suspension was leveled against April Sponsel on Tuesday.

She should have known better. However it is interesting that this is what gets someone suspended and not all the other obvious failures and wrongdoing in office.

Anyone impeding another individual of fredom of movement should be arrested and jailed. The 1st amendment does not grant anyone the right to disturb others freedoms.
